Uneven pigmentation of some sort affects most people, regardless of ethnic background or skin colour. The skin may either appear lighter or darker than usual, and there may be blotchy, uneven areas, patches of brown to grey discolouration, freckling, or age spots.

Skin pigmentation disorders occur because the body produces either too much or too little melanin (increased melanin production is also known as hyperpigmentation).

Pigmentation treatments utilise a combination of skinbetter products, peels, and lightfusion. I often use microdermabrasion as well, to help reduce pigmentation.
