Your approach to wedding skin care should be in the same way that you make your other wedding preparations, it is all about planning. Wedding skin care should start some 6 months prior to your wedding however; if you have less time than that available don’t despair; with the help of Thorntonhall Therapies you can still achieve perfect radiant skin in time for your wedding day.
My suggested wedding skin care plan would be:
6 Months Before – Talk over any skincare concerns with Thorntonhall Therapies, Acne, deep lines, puffiness around the eyes, age spots or pigmentation can all be minimised with a combination of home and clinic treatments. Rejuvapen®,Microdermabrasion, Lightfusion®, Elizabeth Arden PRO® products and peels, Vitage™ and Medik8 products and peels can all be used to ensure the very best look for your wedding day photos.
3 Months Before – Monthly facials should be well under way, any specialist treatments will be showing results and your daily skin care regime will be firmly in place. Work on your décolleté, including neck firming treatments will now commence, this is often an area that is missed and will be on display on the day. Do not worry if you are starting late as a more condensed treatment regime can still be introduced to help you achieve skin perfection for your wedding day.
1 Month Before – Makeup; consider what your final look will be and use makeup products such as Vitage® Colour Minerals complement and enhance your skincare results.
You may wish to have a makeup session with your mother and bridesmaids at Thorntonhall Therapies to trial and agree the image and colours you wish to achieve. The aim here is to enhance the wonderful skin you have achieved over the last few months and ensure you are looking radiant for your big day.
